2. Description of Service
Smolpix provides an automated image optimization service for Webflow websites. Our Service allows you to:
- Connect your Webflow account via OAuth
- Optimize images in your Webflow CMS collections
- Convert images to modern formats (WebP)
- Reduce image file sizes while maintaining quality
- Track optimization metrics and bandwidth savings
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Webflow Integration
By connecting your Webflow account to Smolpix, you:
- Authorize us to access your Webflow sites and CMS collections
- Grant us permission to read and modify image assets in your CMS
- Confirm you have the authority to grant these permissions
- Understand that image modifications are permanent unless you restore backups
We recommend maintaining backups of your original images before optimization.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan
The Free plan includes limited features and usage quotas as specified on our pricing page. Free plans may be subject to change or discontinuation.
Paid Plans
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payments are non-refundable except as required by law
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice
Usage Limits
Each plan includes specific limits on the number of images that can be optimized per month and the number of connected sites. Exceeding these limits may require upgrading to a higher plan.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malware or malicious content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
- Use automated tools to abuse the Service beyond normal usage
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Smolpix and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to your images and content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your images solely for the purpose of providing the optimization service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. IMAGE OPTIMIZATION RESULTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE ORIGINAL IMAGE CHARACTERISTICS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXIE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smolpix and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the account settings.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Smolpix operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
